Teaching on Understanding Lupus, our science course for people living with lupus.

In 2025 we ran Understanding Lupus, the UK's first science course for people living with lupus. We also write regular plain-language research updates for Lupus UK's News and Views magazine, and host lab visit days for A-level students and In2scienceUK placements. George has taken part in Pint of Science (2023), the Royal Society of Biology's Voice of the Future (2023) and Parliamentary Links Day (2025).

Our research depends on young people and families who give blood samples and time through the UCLH adolescent rheumatology clinics. If you would like to know more about taking part, ask your rheumatology team or contact us.
